Canada’s beautiful province of Alberta is a wonderful place. On the South it touches with the United States. And right next to it are the Canadian provinces of British Columbia (BC) and Saskatchewan. There are a lot of adventures in Alberta for those who are fond of traveling.

Hiking

Alberta has been blessed with a lot of greenery. Some of the fine trees like, Birch, Larch and Aspen trees are found here. The travelers can enjoy great hiking in the forests, while also witnessing the golden and yellow color patterns of these trees. Some good travel packages are available and must be utilized.
Of course, if you are in Alberta you have to hike around the Rocky Mountains, which are famously geographically, and also at altitude. This is one of the important adventures in Alberta, you can’t afford to miss.
Banff is a good place for mountain-lovers. This is a place ideal for hiking and special mountain scenery. But it is advised to be cautious about wild animals.
The tourism life of Alberta is evergreen and in every season has its’ own charms. travelers would thoroughly enjoy the sights of Alberta, and would not forget it. Another good place to go, here is Calgary. Here, you can take a nice walk and see the city. They have over there a famous bridge known as the Peace Bridge, tourists can walk across it and experience its’ architecture. The city is next to the Bow River and travelers can do a little biking on the side of this river.

Also, the local animals like elk and deer as they graze in the pastures under the sun. It’s a really nice entertaining destination, where you would tend to forget your worries, and relax. You have long days and the temperature is hot here, so the tourists can comfortably do hiking, biking, and walking in the park. There is also a facility of golf courses, here. It’s for visitors who want to do golfing and also for people who can’t be away from sports.

Millions of years old Dinosaur fossils were found in Alberta. This makes this place very rich in natural history. In the Badlands area, you would find the Dinosaur Provincial Park. Here people interested in Dinosaurs can get a chance of seeing the actual excavation sites. The UN has declared it as a World Heritage Site. The place is ideal for hiking and tourists would be surprised to know that more than 150 dinosaur remains have been found. There are also guides available to assist the visitors. A visit to the Royal Tyrrell Museum, is a must. It houses one of the best dinosaur specimens in the world.
There are other attractions also in the Badlands, like Drumheller. Here the people can get a chance of looking at the Atlas Coal Mine. There are very old mines located in the area and are dated as back as the early 20th century.
