The myth surrounding this castle is that Leedskalnin was abandoned by his fiancé a day before his wedding. Later he was diagnosed with terminal tuberculosis but he healed miraculously. Over a period of 28 years, he built the magnificent Coral castle. He did not let anyone see it until it was complete. The coral castle is a wonderful place to explore. The two-storey castle tower, sundial, fountain and telescope are most fascinating to see. Good news is that entrance ticket to witness this amazing place is quite cheap.


4- Oleta River State Park

Located on Biscayne Bay in metropolitan Miami, the Oleta River State Park is a beautiful park which has the highest concentration of Casuarina trees, also known as Australian pine. The biggest attraction of this park is the mouth of River Oleta. Fun activities like canoeing are quite popular here. The park also has many bike trails and hosts sporting events.
