The richness of Cairo is that it is an international city brimming with an interesting mixture of different cultures.
The Pyramids are known as the Pyramids of Giza. Apart from the great pyramids of Giza are also other famous attractions in Cairo. You can experience and explore delightful places like mosques of Islamic Cairo to the churches of Coptic Cairo. It is a fascinating city which when toured is a history lesson and a cultural education in itself, of the religious and cultural mixture that have taken place in it.

If you want to experience the splendor of Egyptian rulers, in the past and how they lived, the Citadel located at Al-Qalaa, Cairo is a good place to go. It is a series of palaces and mosques which housed Egyptian rulers for more than 700 years. This site also offers fabulous views of the city.

As it houses one of the world’s finest collections of Islamic Art.It has a collection of over 10,000 pieces, mainly Egyptian, but also from elsewhere in the Islamic world. A variety of material can be found here, such as artworks, of different materials. These materials are woodwork, stucco, intarsia, ceramics, glass, metal, and textiles. Carpets are also another attraction, and are to be found here.


Cairo is a wonderland of shopping.It has a lot of markets and bazaars or Souqs as they are known, to explore. Drink in everyday life is popular. For a visitor, there is a wide range of boutiques to explore for unforgettable clothes and jewellery. The largest Bazaars dating from the 14th century, can be found here and also the most famous souq in all of Cairo. In these Gold souqs, you will find the finest Gold andSilver. Also, found here are all the Middle-Easternunusual antique pieces.
