We Found Cheap Flights To Florida and Had The Best Spring

Date 2 May 2017 | Posted by Linda Paul

Spring In Florida

Over the Spring Break I was lucky enough to find cheap flights to Florida. I had begun browsing for cheap flights to Flora in the beginning of February and it took me well over a week to finally book a ticket. My family and I had been dreaming of a holiday to Florida for months. The kids really wanted to visit Disney World and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. I, on the other hand was just crossing my fingers for a good deal on the tickets, and thankfully I managed to find cheap flights to Florida that were perfect for my budget. Luckily, I also ended up saving a little because I used some of my frequent flyer miles towards the tickets as well and got a discount.

Our holiday was a happy one and definitely makes the cut for the top five family holidays we have had. Florida has so much to offer and we were completely spoilt for choice. Below are some of the most exciting things you can do in Florida.

1. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

World of Harry Potter

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter can be found in two different theme parks in Orlando. One is in Universal Studios and the other is in Islands of Adventure. This was one of the first theme parks we visited and we weren’t disappointed. The park has rides and attractions based on the Harry Potter books. The theme park is not just for kids, I think I was more excited than my kids were. We had Butter Beer at Three Broom Sticks and got ourselves matched to a wand at Olvanders. There is a replica of Hogwarts which looks like it jumped out from the books. If you believe in magic and love Harry Potter, this should be your first stop in Florida.

2. Disney World

Disney World

Disney World is where the magic of childhood comes alive. Yes, we’re stick to the theme of magic here and let me tell you Disney World does not disappoint. We loved it so much we ended up going there twice. The kids had a blast trying out all the rides. My daughter loved meeting all the Disney Princesses. She was particular star struck when she met Elsa and Belle. She refused to let go of Belles hand, and we had to drag her away.

3. Kennedy Space Center

Kennedy Space Center

This Space Center has now become an important landmark in America’s history. This has been the site for some of the most important space shuttle launches in history. Guests can take a bus tour of the vast complex and visit various displays and exhibitions.

4. Miami Beach

Miami Beach

This beautiful beach is linked to the mainland by multiple bridges and it should be on the list for everyone who is visiting Florida. The stunning beach is known for its picturesque sandy golden sand and art deco buildings. There are number of restaurants and hotels to choose from at Ocean Drive which is just a stone throw away from the beach.
